Under the dual promotion of the national circular economy policy and the potential benefit demand of enterprises, the nationwide "wall panel craze" is gradually emerging. According to incomplete statistics, in 2006, there were over 150 enterprises and institutions directly or indirectly engaged in the research and development, production, and supporting of wood plastic in China. Wood plastic enterprises are concentrated in the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta regions, with the eastern part far exceeding the central and western regions. Some enterprises in the east are more advanced in technology, while enterprises in the south have absolute advantage in product quantity and market. There are tens of thousands of employees currently employed, and the annual production and sales of wood plastic products are close to 100000 tons, with an annual output value of approximately 3 billion yuan. The test samples of major technical representative enterprises in the industry have reached or exceeded international advanced levels. Due to the compliance of wood-plastic composite materials with China's industrial policies of "building a resource-saving and environmentally friendly society" and "sustainable development", they have developed rapidly since their emergence. Especially in today's increasingly serious greenhouse gas emissions, the implementation of a "low-carbon economy" has further reflected the value of wood-plastic composite materials.
